The art, people and culture of LatinAmerica will be the focus of
"LatinAmerican Realities," a monthlong program of events that will
explore the art, people and culture of Peru and Brazil.
A group of union carpenters stood on the corner of 15th and Iowa
streets Tuesday and Wednesday, protesting the use of a nonunion
contractor at Kansas University.

Ann Foster of Prescott, went home to be with her heavenly Father,
Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007. She is at peace after a lengthy battle
with cancer. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Mary
Barry; her brother, Jim Barry and one precious grandchild, Michael
Poff.
